To set-up your first meeting or to just inquire about services, please
call (321) 689-9148. During the initial appointment, you will be
asked to complete a few information forms that will help to determine
how DeAne can be of most help to you and your concerns. This
paperwork should take about 10 minutes or so to complete; therefore
please arrive about 10 minutes prior to your initial appointment. The
initial intake last between 1 and 1.25 hours depending on your specific
concerns. During this meeting, the fee structure, office policies, your
concerns and counseling options will be addressed with you.
Confidentiality:
DeAne G. Matthew, M.A. adheres to strict standards of
confidentiality of client records and contacts as outlined by the Rules
and Regulations of the State of Florida. Information provided to
DeAne by clients is strictly confidential except in cases where there is
an imminent life threatening situation, situations of suspected
abuse/neglect of children or elders, or when release of records is
required by law. In addition, the services are compliant with the Health
Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) of 1996. For more

Counseling. However, DeAne does offer a sliding fee scale based
upon your income and is willing to work with you and your needs.
Additionally, DeAne offers a discounted rate for full time students.
Payment of fees is discussed during the initial appointment with the
clients. No insurance or Medicare/Medicaid is accepted at this time.
However, upon request, DeAne can provide you with a summary of
information for you to submit to your insurance company if desired.
In office, DeAne Matthew only accepts cash and checks for your
payment. The option of payment via PayPal prior to a counseling
session is available if needed upon request after the initial session. If
